Gracie's Songs

I've been working on a slideshow for my sister Gracie, and I had think about the songs I wanted to use for her. These were a few that I thought were really fitting for her. :)

**Did anyone notice that this blog is starting to be a blog about Gracie?? heh, People write about what they love, right? :P

The first one is a song called Baby Mine

Baby mine, don't you cry.
Baby mine, dry your eyes.
Rest your head close to my heart,
Never to part,
Baby of mine.

Little one when you play,
Don't you mind what they say.
Let those eyes sparkle and shine,
Never a tear,
Baby of mine

If they knew sweet little you,
They'd end up loving you too.
All those same people who scorn you
What they'd give just for the right to hold you.

From your head down to your toes,
You're not much, goodness knows.
But you're so precious to me,
Sweet as can be,
Baby of mine.

All those same people who scold you,
What they'd give just for the right to hold you.

From your head down to your toes
You're not much, goodness knows.
But you're so precious to me,
Sweet as can be,
Baby of mine.
Baby of mine

And the second is part of a country song that I heard Alison Krauss do, called When You Say Nothing at All.

It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word you can light up the dark
Try as I may I could never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing

All day long I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd
Old Mr. Webster could never define
What's being said between your heart and mine

***in other news, Seattle and Portland got snow!!! amazing right? (Seattle and Portland never get snow)  we did to. Lots of it.
